Red Sox 100th Anniversary Celebration

The Red Sox celebrated their 100th anniversary on May 27, 2001, with a ceremony before the game. Many great players from the past century came back and were introduced during the ceremony. I had a great seat that day, and the pictures I took are below.

Charlie Wagner, who signed with the Red Sox in 1935, throws out the first pitch, with Fisk catching.



Tim Wakefield takes the mound for the game against the Toronto Blue Jays.



Trot takes a swing.


Wakefield and the Sox went on to beat the Blue Jays, 4-2.
